I’ve been in the design field for about six years, bridging visual craft and systems thinking. My background in graphic design shaped how I think about communication and structure, a foundation that continues to guide how I approach UX and system design today.
Most recently, I worked at Amazon on the Shopping Design System, maintaining and refining Figma libraries that help teams build consistent, accessible interfaces across the shopping experience. I’m passionate about connecting thoughtful systems with real user needs and finding clarity within complexity.

My Design Approach
I take a holistic, data-informed approach to design. I start broad to understand the context and user needs, then narrow in to define the core problem and shape clear solutions. I combine systems thinking with visual craft so each decision supports both user goals and business needs. My process is iterative and focused on creating experiences that feel clear, consistent, and purposeful.
Education
I earned my MFA in Design from UC Davis, where I explored the relationship between emotion, sound, and interaction design.
My thesis project, Emotive Echo, investigated how AI can interpret emotional qualities in musical tone and translate them into language prompts to generate motion-based visuals. The work combined art, code, and psychology, and strengthened my ability to design experiences that connect human expression with emerging technology.
Before that, I completed my BA in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a concentration in Web Design.
